Conservationists in Hawaii are deeply concerned about the large free-roaming cat population that seriously impacts the many birds on the islands — and HSUS wants to intercede on behalf of the cats, but implementing trap-neuter-release principles is not straight-forward with the geographical and other local practical challenges.
