Confusion over FDA Report on Grain-free Dry Dog Food & Heart Condition in Dogs

Dog Talk (And Kitties Too!) (07-13-2019) #631: Featuring Dr. Ryan Yamka, Susan Cohen, and Deborah Suchman. Veterinary nutrition specialist Dr Ryan Yamka discusses the public’s misunderstanding of the FDA report on grain-free dry dog food and a heart condition in dogs, which is clearly not scientifically linked to the problem; Susan Cohen was a grief counselor for pet parents, who has now turned her attention to veterinarians (who have the highest suicide rate of any profession) and shelter workers dealing with the stresses of their profession; Deborah Suchman talks about her private company PolkaDog Bakery, which sources its fish skins right on the Boston Wharf.
