Dog Talk (11/29/2014) #397: Pet food industry veteran Scott Freeman (who created Nature’s Variety and went on to create Nature’s Logic) discusses the change in quality that consumers might not realize when an entrepreneurial boutique private pet food company sells out to one of the Big Four pet food conglomerates and Tracie questions whether “Selling out is selling your soul?”; artist Mark Ulriksen talks about his delightful book Dogs Rule Nonchalantly; New Jersey Japanese Chin (and German Shepherd) breeder Marisa Schmidt talks about why she only has 1 to 2 litters a year at asian-dog-rescue.org and where else one can find this adorable toy breed.
