Guide Dog Teen Camp

Dog Talk (And Kitties Too!) (06-22-2019) #628: Featuring Katie Perez, Ann Hill, and Megan Arant. Katie Perez talks about the Guide Dog Teen camp they offer for visually-impaired young people at Southeastern Guide Dogs in Palmetto Florida; Ann Hill, the founder and Executive Director of Pets in Need of Greater Cincinnati talks about this low-cost vet clinic for low-income pet families, and how access to veterinary care is a social justice issue; Megan Arant describes her study of the welfare of therapy and assistance dogs, the results of which she hopes will encourage much-needed breaks from their service duties for these dogs, because of the stress they experience in their work.
