Older Dogs, Deeper Love

Dog Talk (And Kitties Too!) (10-15-2016) #494: Kasey Klonsky’s film “Love Unleashed” was in part a creative family endeavor as she traveled all over the country filming people and their aging dogs, alongside her mother Jane Klonsky who was taking photographs for her new book UNCONDITIONAL: OLDER DOGS, DEEPER LOVE; Theresa Stern is Vice President of Outreach and Admissions and Alumni Services for Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael, California and talks about the process of being paired with a dog and becoming a team, which she herself has done many times over; Benita Raphan’s artistic and thought-provoking film “Pete the Dog” about the challenges of adopting a dog who cannot adapt to where you live, which she discusses further in podcasts she mentions during the conversation.
