The Film Festivals are Coming to the Berkshires – and I’m Coming, Too!

I’m pretty darned happy that my local independent art house movie theater, Images Cinema in Williamstown, Massachusetts, is going to be hosting my NY Cat Film Festival this coming Saturday May 4th at 1 PM (with 2 different programs), and then on Sunday May 5th we’re really going to the dogs, because dogs are welcome to come with their people to the NY Dog Film festival at 1 PM. I am coming, too! I want to greet people in person and answer any questions. But no, I will not be bringing Maisie and Wanda Weimaraner on Sunday because sitting still for three hours, even with an intermission, isn’t their idea of a good time!

Through the generosity of our Presenting Sponsor, Comfort Zone, everybody who comes to the Cat Festival will get a coupon for a free Comfort Zone pheromone diffuser (worth twice as much as the ticket price!).

(I’ll have some for the dog people on Sunday, too — in case they are multi-species pet lovers). In addition, Comfort Zone is giving Berkshire Humane Society enough coupons so that every cat adopter and foster through the end of the year will get a free coupon, too (actually, we are doing this in every single city the Cat Film Festival visits all year!)

Also in attendance will be the wonderful folks from Weruva pet foods, who are sponsors of both festivals,  will be there with free samples of their delightful human grade cat and dog food.

You can buy tickets online and avoid what will be a happily long line at the door — knowing that a portion of every ticket will benefit the marvelous Berkshire Humane Society.

If you aren’t sure what the festivals are—or if you’ll like them, I grabbed a whole lot of articles from the New York Times (which graciously covers our Festival premieres every Fall) here, here, here and here.

A few other articles I found were from the Seattle Times, Travel & Leisure, and this interview with me. in Film Daily.

And here are some comments on our Festival website. All of that should give you a clear picture of what you’ll be missing if you don’t make a point of coming.

Can’t wait to see you there!
