What an incredible concept! Just yesterday they launched the innovative idea of having a “surprise” pop up space to highlight the needs of animals looking for their forever homes — and the needs of beloved pets for the best possible nutrition. And tonight I am launching our partnership to bring all the shows on the Radio pet Lady Network right into the middle of the fun in the shop. The Halo City Tails NYC “store” is at the corner of 47th and Lexington Avenue at the Roger Smith Hotel (pet friendly, of course!) You can make charitable contributions to the Halo Pet Foundation when you visit (100% of donations are granted to animal welfare and rescue groups) and for your donation you get merchandise from the Ellen show (the magnificent Ellen DeGeneres is part-owner of Halo, of course you know that by now!) And there are prizes like tickets to see the Ellen Show in Los Angeles and donations of Halo foods to your favorite shelter.
Super cool news is that the Radio Pet Lady Network is “setting up shop” right inside the store, where all our pet radio shows will play in simulcast directly from our studio Monday through Thursday at 8 PM ET. You can hear all the shows at 8 PM because the loud speakers will be on in the Pop-Up shop, even during all the great events they have planned like adoptions, appearances by pet experts and pet performances. If you are anywhere in the New York area, please pick an evening to come on over to The Corner at 47th and Lexington so you can hear me and my expert co-hosts talk about everything from pet cancer to nutrition, holistic medicine, cat behavior challenges and dog training advice. We will be taking calls on our shows right from the Halo City Tails shop — so people listening to the shows across the country can feel as if they are in the Halo Pop up themselves.
