A Philosopher Canine in “The Means”

Dog Talk (And Kitties Too!) (10-03-2022) #799A: Amy Fusselman’s deeply funny novel, “The Means,” is a social satire that Tracie likens to “Bonfire of the Vanities,” with the addition of a talking philosophical dog who lampoons the striving and material aspirations of his mistress, who can only afford to have a beach house with a Toto toilet in the Hamptons if it is fashioned from two shipping containers. [Actually minus the fancy toilet.]
