Alexandra Horowitz on Puppy Love (But Not at First Sight)

Dog Talk (And Kitties Too!) (10-17-2022) #801A: What was it like for world-renowned dog scientist Alexandra Horowitz to have a puppy blast into her life? She talks about her wonderful new book “The Year of the Puppy — How Dogs Become Themselves” and how her son and husband immediately embraced the whirlwind little Quiddity, while she took longer to warm up to her. The book explores all the stages of puppy development and the entirely individual way each youngster develops into who they will ultimately be.
