Dog Talk #350 (12/07/2013)

Dog Talk #350 (12/07/2013): Tracie reads a fascinating letter from a listener who has a unique perspective on “adopting from the South” because she went to pick up her dog from a poor rural Southern shelter; adventurer/explorer Tim Cope recounts his extraordinary voyage on horseback with dog by his side, retracing Genghis Khan’s steps in ON THE TRAIL OF GENGHIS KHAN; Dr. Elizabeth Hodgkins talks about the lower value we put on cats in our society and whether we can do anything to raise their status.
