Dog Talk #385 (8/30/2014)

Dog Talk (and Kitties, Too!)

Dog Talk (8/30/2014) #385: Mary Peng calls from Beijing, China, to talk about the positive realities of pet ownership in the People’s Republic of China rather than the publicized dog meat festival, describing pet adoption days and her International Center for Veterinary Services in Beijing; dog trainers Lisa & Brad Waggoner discuss their Cold Nose College where they bring “chicken camp” to dog trainers, teaching clicker training with chickens (about which we have no assumptions or expectations) to aid in developing good skills and timing in dog training; Theresa Schwegel talks about her much-heralded Chicago police thriller featuring a service dog with thunderstorm phobia in THE GOOD BOY.
