K9 Disaster Relief Formed Post 9/11

Dog Talk (06-06-2015) #424: Frank Shane formed K9DisasterRelief.org after being at Ground Zero with his therapy dog Nikie to help rescue workers deal with their emotions and is often at the 9-11 memorial museum; Deborah Lutz’s beautiful book THE BRONTE CABINET: Three Lives in Nine Objects looks at the Bronte sisters as seen through their objects, in Emily’s case the brass collar of her much loved (yet heavily abused) dog; Henry Colucci runs CATS INC, a pet food pantry for low-income pet owners in Las Vegas; Tracie reads a letter from Adam, a veterinary student in Great Britain.
