Lessons from an Old Dog

Dog Talk (And Kitties Too!) (10-31-2021) #751: Featuring Jenna Blum, Natalia Borrega, and Gabriel Feitosa. Jenna Blum talks about devoting herself to her aging dog in Woodrow on the Bench: Life Lessons from a Wise Old Dog and how his “old man” time next to a park bench created a community around them; Dr. Natalia Borrega, wildlife expert from the University of Minnesota Lion Center and now the American University in Cairo, where she is continuing her study of lions, talks about a problem the rest of us can understand: that her “problem child” Lysander has social difficulties — he’s her 130 lbs Great Dane who travels the world with her but does not like other dogs; Gabriel Feitosa talk about being an award-winning groomer and contestant on the ABC series “Pooch Perfect,” but is especially proud of being a gay Latino role mdoel for others.
