Discussions with members of the Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association (HSVMA) are about applying humane and ethical principles to the way veterinary medicine is practiced in America and around the world, on animals used in research, food production, and pharmacology as well as companion animals.Interviews with social scientists and authors focus on the emotional and social lives of creatures other than human. [Please note: conversations with Wayne Pacelle, the CEO of the Humane Society of the United States, were previously recorded in 2012 and 2013. HSUS response to Wolf Hunting

Humane Talk (09-28-2015) #8050: From a conversation in 2013: right after the USFWS de-listed wolves as endangered in the Great lakes region, Wisconsin and Minnesota opened wolf hunting and trapping. How did the HSUS respond to this tragic development? Animal welfare in India — a contradiction in terms, as Tracie experienced it? After his trip there, Wayne is hopeful about the work Humane Society International is doing.
