Humane Talk #8005 (2-10-2014)

Humane Talk (2-10-2014) #8005: Great books about animals and a special project with dogs in a Louisiana prison. Some books we love that celebrate animals, including “The Art of Racing in the Rain,” “Alex and Me,” Wayne’s own book, “The Bond,” and a wide variety of fascinating reads; Hear the unique story of a new pet shelter inside the Dixon Correctional Institute in Louisiana, which takes in homeless dogs and offers them for adoption — a project that helps inmates, pets, and the community.
