Humane Talk

Humane Talk (12-22-2014) #8042: An undercover video that was part of HSUS investigation uncovered shocking abuse of Tennessee walking horses, especially the abuse called “soring,” the intentional infliction of pain to produce a high-stepping gait, similar to the mistreatment Tracie saw first hand in another show horse barn: Wayne talks about five of the most important events in the recent history of animal protection, including the ban on extreme confinement of farm animals in California, the rescue of pets after Hurricane Katrina and the arrest of Michael Vick for dogfighting. [These conversations were originally held in 2012; for more up-to-date information, please visit HSUS.org.]
